As you may have read in our newsletter last year, we are making changes to better inform customers about how inflation adjustment works and to give them easier ways to opt out should they wish to.

Opt out of the inflation adjustment without having to contact us

You and customers can now opt out of the inflation adjustment on their policy without having to call or email us.

Inflation adjustment

You and customers will have the choice to either:

  • Opt out until the customer’s next policy anniversary date
  • Opt out from the customer’s last policy anniversary date or
  • Opt out permanently.

How to opt out of inflation adjustment online

There are 2 ways to do this.

Through our website

You and customers can visit our online inflation adjustment form.

Through My Resolution Life

1. Simply login to My Resolution Life. As an adviser, you’ll need to search for the relevant customer and go into Customer View first.

2. You or customers can search ‘inflation adjustment’ to bring up the form. Alternatively, you can also find this form on the left hand navigation:
