Your responsibilities as an adviser

You may only carry out actions on behalf of clients when you have their explicit written authorisation.

Your login credentials (username and password) must be kept strictly confidential. Only you are permitted to use them to access the portal. Any activity undertaken using your credentials will be considered as being authorised by you.

You give us authority to act on any instructions or transactions submitted through the portal using your credentials. Whether to accept any transaction or instruction—either on your behalf or your client's—is at Resolution Life’s discretion.

If you suspect your credentials have been compromised or that unauthorised access has occurred, you must notify us immediately. Until such notification, you remain responsible for any actions taken under your credentials. You will not be held liable for any misuse occurring after you have reported the breach, provided you were not responsible for the unauthorised disclosure of or access to your credentials.

We may deny or revoke your access if we identify security concerns related to your credentials or general concerns about the portal’s security or availability.

You agree to indemnify Resolution Life, other users of this website and associated portals and related systems from any loss, cost, damage, or expense resulting from your use of the My Resolution Life Adviser portal, or any use of your credentials by others on your behalf.

Use by your support staff

If you allow your administrative or support staff, or any other staff ("Personnel") to access the My Resolution Life Adviser portal or act on your behalf, you confirm that they are authorised to do so. Any actions or instructions from your Personnel will be deemed to be initiated by you.

All authorised Personnel may be subject to separate registration requirements and must comply with relevant terms and conditions. These Personnel-specific terms are considered part of your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
