Our Income Protection cover have been designed to support your clients and help them get back to the life they love after illness or injury.

•   Premium and Cover Pause Benefit: This benefit allows your clients to suspend all benefits under your policy and premiums associated with them for 3, 6 or 12 months.
•   Automatic Inflation Benefit: Your clients monthly benefit is automatically increased each year by the greater of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or 3% unless we are advised that your client don’t want this increase.
•   Premium Freeze Benefit: This benefit allows your clients to maintain their current premium at the time the benefit is exercised, in exchange for a monthly benefit that reduces each year. Only available with variable age stepped premium.
•   Rehabilitation Expenses Benefit: We’ll reimburse approved rehabilitation expenses, up to an amount of six times the monthly benefit. Not available if your clients income insurance is through superannuation.
•   Right to Take out an Income Insurance Senior Plan: (medical and white-collar professionals only) Your client may apply for an Income Insurance Senior Plan without having to provide evidence about their health, any time after turning age 60 and before the expiry of your existing income insurance plan.

New Business post 16 December 2024

The ‘old’ Income Insurance Plan, Income Insurance Plus Plan, Income Insurance Premier Plan, Income Insurance SMSF Plan and Income Insurance Superannuation Plan are now closed to new applications.  

No new policies will be issued for these ‘old’ plans (this includes clients who already have these plans and want to do a cancel and replace to change ownership of the policy).

We will continue to accept and process inflight applications for these plans written under the PDS dated 19 December 2022 up until 15 January 2025. Any application submitted after this date must be under the new PDS dated 16 December 2024.
