Our Trauma cover can help reduce the financial stress of your client when they suffer a Critical Illness. This allows them to focus on their recovery.
• Premium and Cover Pause Benefit: This benefit allows your client to suspend all benefits under your policy and premiums associated with them for 3, 6 or 12 months. During this period and in future, your client will be unable to claim under their policy in respect of any medical condition, injury or sickness that occurs during the premium and cover pause period. At the end of the premium and cover pause period, we will continue your clients cover and your premium payments will resume.
• Automatic Inflation Benefit: Your clients monthly benefit is automatically increased by greater of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or 5% unless we are advised that your client don’t want this increase.
• Life Buy Back Benefit: 12 months after a full trauma benefit is paid, your client may buy that amount of cover back as a life insurance plan without having to provide health evidence. Only available if your clients trauma insurance is linked to a life insurance plan.
• Future Insurability Benefit: Your client can increase their sum insured for specific events without having to provide health evidence.
• Accommodation Benefit: If we’ve paid the full Trauma Benefit and your client is confined to bed and requires a family member to stay with them, we’ll pay up to $250 per day for up to 14 days to help with accommodation costs.
• Financial Planning Benefit: We’ll reimburse up to $2,000 for the cost of financial planning advice received within 12 months of us paying the full Trauma Benefit.
• Premium Freeze Benefit: This benefit allows your client to maintain their current premium at the time the benefit is exercised, in exchange for a sum insured that reduces each year. Only available with variable age stepped premiums.
