Before joining Resolution Life, Tim was the CEO of Medical Indemnity, the largest medical indemnity insurer in Australia. Prior to Avante Mutual, Tim was the CEO of AIA Health Insurance, Chief Marketing Officer of AIA and successfully led significant insurance business acquisitions and integration programs in Australia and New Zealand.

    Bachelor of Business Studies and Master of Art from Trinity College Dublin, Graduate Management Qualification from AGSM, and is an alumni of Harvard Business School CFO leadership program, Fellow of the Australian and England & Wales Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

    Yvonne is the Chief Financial Officer for Resolution Life Australasia and has over twenty-five years commercial experience spanning across Financial Services, Property and Oil sectors, both in Australia and internationally.

    Prior to Resolution Life, Yvonne held several CFO roles in the Westpac Banking Group. Yvonne has a strong interest in education and development and serves as a member of the Loreto Kirribilli School Board and is the Chair of the Ireland Funds Australia.

    Yvonne is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and is privileged to sit on the Provosts Council for the last 5 years.

    Peter has over 20 years’ experience in technology leadership and has held roles in established financial services organisations, start-ups, consulting firms and software vendors in Australia and the United Kingdom. Peter is currently the Chief Information Officer, Resolution Life Australasia, accountable for all technology, data and analytics capabilities. Peter has led the operational separation of Resolution Life Australasia from AMP Group is leading the operational integration of AIA Australia’s Super and Investments business. Peter has played a key role in driving Resolution Life’s digital transformation program with the rollout of initiatives such as the enhanced customer portal, simplified claims handling processes and move to a cloud only technology operating model.

    Prior to Resolution Life, Peter was Chief Technology Officer for AMP Life and held a variety of senior leadership roles at AMP across Technology and Operations.

    Peter holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Hons 1st class) from UNSW, majoring in Artificial Intelligence.

    Chief Customer & Operating Officer

    Paul Tarlinton is Chief Customer & Operating Officer at Resolution Life Australasia, accountable for the design, planning and implementation of the integrated roadmap of Customer Journey initiatives and operations. The remit includes end to end accountability and oversight of Customer experience and operations, claims assessment, processing and monitoring, the product development life cycle, regulatory change management, underwriting and the strategic management of Advisors and other key partners.

    Paul’s experience extends across human resources, business development and operational leadership, across a diverse range of executive and large-scale leadership roles in financial services and the airline industry and has extensive transformation experience having led transformations of customer services, operations and group human resources functions.

    Paul’s prior roles include Chief HR Officer and Chief of Staff at Resolution Life, HR Director and Operations Director at AMP, Head of Direct Sales and Customer Service (contact centre) at Qantas.

    Karen Malzard is the Chief Risk Officer to Resolution Life Australasia accountable for leading Resolution Life’s Risk and Legal team.

    Karen is a highly experienced executive having held senior roles in the wealth sector of the finance industry covering superannuation platforms, product, projects, strategy, finance and risk.

    Karen’s previous roles includes senior executive risk roles at ANZ Bank, Zurich Financial Services and BT Portfolios Services.

    Karen holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. She is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

  • John Lucey

    Chief Investment Officer

    John is the Chief Investment Officer for Resolution Life Australasia. In his role, John is accountable for the overall investment strategy and management of investment activities, optimising returns in line with risk appetite, liability profile and capital requirements.

    John has over 20 years’ experience in financial services both overseas and in Australia. Most recently John held the Chief Investment Officer role at Avant Mutual Group.

    Prior to that, John spent more than 10 years working for ING Investment Management and later ANZ Wealth. John also spent time at Bank of Ireland Asset Management in Dublin.

    John holds a Masters of Applied Finance degree from Macquarie University, Sydney, a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Finance from University College Cork (Ireland) and is a fully qualified ACMA accountant.

  • Amy Greenaway

    Chief Human Resources Officer & Chief of Staff

    Masters of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations; Bachelor of Music.

    Amy is accountable for Resolution Life’s Human Resources, Agile and Corporate Services functions encompassing strategy, Corporate Affairs, Office of the CEO, Company Secretariat, Strategy Sourcing, Human Resources, Change Management and Agile operating model.

    Amy has held a variety of roles in Financial Services, Media & Entertainment, Professional Services and Consulting across Australia and the United States of America.

    Prior to Resolution Life, Amy was a Director in People and Change at KPMG Australia, specialising in Financial Services.
