Lifestream Guaranteed Income is a product that is issued by Resolution Life Australasia Limited and brought to market under the Acenda brand.
 

What is an annuity?

An annuity is a low-risk product that provides a guaranteed income for a set number of years or for life, in exchange for a lump sum payment. You choose the term, the frequency of regular income payments, and for a fixed term annuity, how much of your purchase price is returned at the end of the term. 
 

Lifestream Guaranteed Income annuities

Lifestream Guaranteed Income helps you retire with confidence. Receive guaranteed lifetime income that can help manage your cashflow and keep pace with inflation if you choose to index your payments in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).  

Lifestream Guaranteed Income is also offered as a fixed term annuity. Fixed Term Annuities provide guaranteed, regular income for a set period, between 1 and 30 years. For individuals, tax may be deducted from your regular payments. However, if you’re 60 and over, have met a condition of release and have purchased the annuity with money from your super; the regular payments will be tax-free.

Customers can choose monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly income payments and have the option to have all or a portion of their purchase price returned to them at the end of the term. This option is referred to as Residual Capital Value (RCV).
