A unit trust product is an investment vehicle where you purchase units in a trust fund. Your money and money from other investors are pooled together and invested in different asset classes (such as cash, property, shares) by the fund manager for your provider. The fund manager then has responsibility to invest these pooled funds, considering the risk and return measures for the investment and asset class you have invested in.
